The Attic Outlet is a thrift store ministry that began February 1, 1997 with a staff of one part-time and two full time positions along with a large host of volunteers. Our volunteer staff plays an integral part in our ability to minister to the needs of God's children. It is only by donations from our surrounding community and our dedicated volunteers that we are able to exist.

Proceeds from the sale of merchandise (recieved entirely by donations) are used to meet various needs of individuals and families within the Coffee, Franklin, Bedford, and Moore county areas. Some of the areas of service include: food, furniture, clothing, household items, rent, and utilities.

Food Pantry Ministry

Our Food Pantry, first of the Community Care Ministries, began at Grace Baptist Church in June 1996 to help feed the hungry in our own community. When the Attic Outlet opened, the Food Pantry was moved from Grace Baptist Church to the Attic Outlet location. The Food Pantry is stocked by donations from individuals and Sunday School classes from Grace and by the local Postal Food Drive that takes place twice a year.

Support Our Seniors (SOS) Ministry

Our Support Our Seniors Ministry is a supplemental food program for individuals who may meet certain guidelines. Eligibility is based on the number of senior citizens 62 years of age or older in a single household, total gross income based on current poverty guidelines as listed by the Social Security Administration.

Swaddling Clothes Ministry

Our Swaddling Clothes Ministry collects donations of basic essentials for newborns including, clothing, diapers, formula and passes these necessities along with the baby's first bible to new mothers who may not have adequate resources on their own.

Firewood Ministry

Our Firewood Ministry has been added in 2016. Anyone that uses a wood stove as their main heating source can be eligible for free firewood. The process is the same as our financial assistance guidelines.

Community Involvement

The Attic Outlet is involved with several other local organizations such as Providence Ministries, Partners for Healing, Tullahoma Housing Authority, Multi-Co Cancer Support Network, Lion's Club, Tullahoma Animal Shelter, Waiting for a Falling Star to Fall Animal Rescue, Haven of Hope, Avalon Hospice, Adult Literacy Council, Shepard's House, Skills Development Center, First Choice Pregnancy Center, Life Choices Pregnancy Center and Tullahoma Kiwani's.
